A solid 18ct yellow gold cased Breitling 1945 pre Datora  chronodato in lovely original condition. What makes this watch so rare the actual Breitling Datora was officially released in 1946. This watch was released early in 1945 probably proto by Breitling before modelling and signing the dial Datora. Dial is lovely creme with black marker, outer minute & seconds track, sub-dials with black sword style hands, Red outer date track. Dial has no oxidization I believe this is a earlier re finished dial purely on condition. Case is real nice set in solid 18ct 750 yellow gold signed Breitling with no bad imperfections or dents. Movement is the Valjoux 72c known simply as the best manual wind chronograph movement in the world as used in the following watch, Paul Newman Rolex Daytona 6263, Rolex Jean Claude Killy 6036, Patek  Philippe, Vacheron Constantin etc, The movement is running well nice healthy beat keeping good time all functions working chronograph functions working and returning to the correct positions. My Conclusion simply a lovely rare vintage Breitling chronograph that sits lovely on the wrist and admired by all watch lovers. This watch is not only very scarce and collectable it is  priced very low when you consider its rarity and its gold content watch is ready to worn and enjoyed or just added to a collection a superb investment time piece with a very hi long term yield.
