Here for your consideration today we offer this outstanding vintage watch from one of the oldest and most respected watchmakers in the world Blancpain. Established in 1735, they are regarded as one of best hand made watches out there along with Patek Philippe and Vacheron Constanin.  This is the Blancpain Villeret Automatic with date display.  An absolute beauty of a gents dress watch that sits so comfortably and elegantly on the wrist. If you are not familiar with Blancpain please do a little research on the brand as these are real collectors watches, a watch of real status not pretence status.  You buy this type of watch for the love horology. The watch is in lovely original condition as shown in our photos which form part of the description. The watch also comes with it’s original box and papers from when new. Now to the novice…99% of wristwatch service history is unknown, so for these reasons they are checked in store before we market them for sale. As with most collectable high end wrist watches the watch is in good original condition with only very light blemishes.  Movement is nice and clean keeping good beat rate and accurate time. My conclusion, a lovely vintage automatic watch from a prestigious maker.  A watch that can be worn every day or simply added to a collection.  Also a very sound investment. This watch was not produced in its masses, only low numbers.  This number is 1932 of 2,000 pieces world wide.
